Multilingual Years 1–2 French, German, English

From the beginning of the 2024 school year.

The teaching in primary school is in accordance with the Plan d'Etudes Romand (PER).

The course of study from 1P to 4P aims to put in place the fundamentals that will serve the student throughout his or her schooling. Our active and caring teaching approach is interdisciplinary: through concrete activities, it integrates science, languages, discovery of the environment and the development of motor skills.

Work, discovery and recreation areas are strictly dedicated to the primary school children.

Years 1–2 at ECOLE MOSER

Multilingual education

Based on the concept of discovery, fundamental learning is articulated around the five senses. Combined with manual, sensory and movement activities, they reinforce executive skills in a more natural and profound way.

From the beginning of 1P, the child is regularly exposed to three languages, mainly French, but also German and English.

Early literacy and the discovery of the written word take place exclusively in French in these grades. Reading is encouraged through various activities organised with the librarians.

This multilingual approach is accompanied by a strong cultural dimension which allows the construction of rich references including stories, music and the discovery of certain traditions.

Pupils will regularly practise Outdoor Learning. Organised in a natural environment, these outings allow for a concrete approach to science, based on observation and practical activities. These activities also promote self-confidence and contribute to emotional and social well-being.
